About the Role
Strong communication skills in Portuguese; intermediary English proficiency
Location: Ideally based in or willing to relocate to Piracicaba or another strategic location in São Paulo or Paraná to support farmer acquisition.

As a Farmer Community Manager at InPlanet, you will play a pivotal role in connecting with the agricultural community, driving engagement, and fostering partnerships that advance sustainable and regenerative farming practices. This position combines agronomy, relationship management, and strategic partnerships to promote InPlanet's vision and impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Farmer Relationships: Prospect, mediate, and manage relationships with farmers, ensuring smooth transitions and partnership success.
  • Third-party Coordination: Supervise and align third parties seeking farmer partners, ensuring efficiency and quality in processes.
  • Presentations and Outreach: Conduct remote and in-person meetings to introduce InPlanet and our business model, addressing questions and showcasing partnership value.
  • Event Participation: Identify, organize, and attend relevant fairs and events to promote InPlanet and establish valuable connections.
  • Promotional Content Development: Collaborate on creating pitches, webinars, articles, and promotional materials to attract new partners.
  • Partnership Documentation: Assist in eligibility assessments, document submissions, and the preparation of partnership contracts and NDAs.
  • Community Building: Act as the main point of contact for the farming community, fostering trust and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Operational Reporting: Track progress through a comprehensive CRM and measure success by hectares closed and partnership velocity.
  • Travel and Representation: Travel across São Paulo, Paraná, and other regions to strengthen partnerships and support project implementation.
  • Strategic Development: Contribute to the creation and refinement of innovative business models that benefit all stakeholders.

Core Skills & Experience
  • Degree in Agronomy or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in agriculture and farming
  • Expertise in multi-stakeholder project management
  • Experience with operational reporting, project analytics, and performance indicators
  • Prior experience setting up and managing agronomic trials at the field level
  • Technical experience with agronomic machinery (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of farm-level operations
Key Qualities
  • Go-getter, hands-on attitude

  • Existing connections with farmer associations or cooperatives (a big plus)
  • Experience in sales and account management (a big plus)

At InPlanet, our philosophy revolves around ensuring fair and unbiased compensation and equitable equity pay, coupled with competitive benefits, across all regions where we operate.
The reason behind our salary range being wide or undefined at the first stages of the interview is because of our international presence and globally distributed workforce, we utilize geo ranges to account for varying pay differentials, forming a crucial part of our global compensation strategy to remain competitive across diverse markets as we expand our reach.
These ranges are determined by role, level, and location, recognizing the nuanced demands of each market. The actual base pay for the selected candidate is influenced by factors such as location, skills, experience, training, business requirements, and market dynamics, with the range subject to potential adjustments in alignment with our commitment to fairness and transparency.
