About the Role
As operations assistant you will be cooperating closely with the science and operations teams and provide assistance in a variety of tasks. The majority of these tasks will require your presence at the ESALQ campus in Piracicaba, where the science team is undergoing experiments with a focus on rock powder application and carbon removal in agriculture. Occasionally, you will get the opportunity to accompany the operations team in visiting farms in the surrounding municipalities and assist on field based tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Tasks will include assisting in the set-up, operation, maintenance and the overseeing of experiments and projects in the farm context. You will be working under the supervision of members of the science team, and you will be required to work under their supervision and guidance. Day to day tasks may include the construction of pot experiments, thorough documentation of research activities, the taking of samples as well as the maintenance of research equipment.
