As an innovative and multiple award-winning startup, we are immediately looking for a dedicated Key Account Manager. Our mission? Utilizing the biodiversity of the seas to protect scarce resources while developing high-quality, tasty, and sustainable food alternatives.
Externally, we are the most awarded startup for alternative seafood and fish with a positive impact on human and planetary health. Internally, we are a technology-driven team of algae experts working on developing the next generation of ingredients to enhance sensory properties, improve nutritional values, and reduce costs and the use of scarce resources.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Our first product, BettaFish TU-NAH, is already featured in retail stores and on the menus of numerous prestigious partners such as Deutsche Bahn Bistro, L’Osteria, Pizza Hut, and many university canteens. Our vision is to also offer sustainable and delicious alternatives from the sea for out-of-home consumption.
Focus on collaborating with wholesalers, system gastronomy partners, hotel chains, and corporate caterers.
Central point of contact for all matters in Food Service, responsible for maintaining and expanding existing partnerships.
Ensuring a smooth flow of information between customers and the company.
Leading end-of-year discussions and implementing measures to achieve targets in sales and results.
Identifying and acquiring new customers in line with the brand strategy and developing strategic business opportunities.
Participating in tasting sessions and trade shows to represent BettaF!sh in the Food Service industry.
Planning and implementing marketing strategies in collaboration with the marketing team to increase brand awareness and sales.
Responsible for sales development, revenue planning, and internal KPIs.

WHAT YOU BRING:

At least 2 years of sales experience, ideally in managing and acquiring partners in Food Service or wholesale.
A deep understanding of the gastronomy and Food Service scene and an excellent industry network.
Experience in international business environments and knowledge of foreign markets are advantageous.
Strong communication and negotiation skills in German and English (at least C1 level).
High self-motivation and the ability to work independently as well as in a team.
A strong passion for good, sustainable food, particularly seaweed.
As a dynamic doer, you drive our growth in Germany and Europe, significantly contributing to achieving our environmental goals and thus having the greatest possible impact on our oceans ​
Comfortable in a rapidly growing company, innovative in selling our seaweed innovations, and always keeping practical, quick solutions in mind.
