Our innovative, patent-pending feed additive promises to revolutionize how we reduce methane emissions from livestock. With a mission to cut 1% of global emissions by 2035, we're in search of a Chief Operating Officer (COO) who is as passionate about making a significant impact as we are.

The role

As our COO, you'll be the heartbeat of Agteria's operations. You will work closely with the founders to oversee various aspects of operations, including financial management, strategic planning, forecasting, and performance metrics as well as building processes, systems and tools required to scale the company such as:

  • Financial Management; planning and analysis, forecasts and budgets and manage financial services and controls

  • Strategic Planning; develop and strategic vision, goals, and objectives, conduct market research and analysis and translate strategic priorities into actionable plans, initiatives and metrics

  • Investor reporting, compile reports and metrics

  • Build and optimize internal processes and workflows to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, cost savings and scalability and track progress

  • Identify, plan and implement, tools, resources and policies needed to scale the company

  • Represent Agteria in meetings, negotiations and events as needed

  • Recruit and manage team members and build foundation for a high performing culture

We are looking for the following qualifications:

  • BSc or MSc degree in Business and Economics, Business Administration, or Industrial Engineering with major in Finance / Accounting or equivalent

  • 2+ years work experience from PE/VC/Management Consultancy/Financial Firm or scaleup with focus on financial analysis and/or strategic planning and/or operations management

  • Strong financial acumen, with track record in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling

  • Project management skills with track record of starting, running and managing projects and areas independently and successfully within tight deadlines

  • Proven decision-making skills with ability to synthesise complex information and make data-driven recommendations

  • Excellent analytical thinking

  • High attention to detail

  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with a passion for innovation and driving results in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English ( Swedish skills is a plus)

  • Structured work style with top time management skills

  • Collaborative working style, thriving in helping colleagues grow and succeed
