Job description
We are hiring a Program/Project Manager to coordinate and drive Nutropy’s cross-functional R&D programs. You will ensure effective planning, execution, and delivery of strategic technical projects by aligning teams, timelines, budgets, and deliverables with company goals. Your role will involve working closely with team members and company leadership to maintain structure, momentum, and clarity in our development roadmap.
You will play a key role in scaling our operations and accelerating our innovation pipeline.
At Nutropy, your job will consist in the following:
Project & Program Management
Work directly with the CSO to lead planning and execution of R&D and innovation programs across multiple functions (molecular biology, fermentation, dsp, food & protein science, analytics, etc.)
Define project scopes, timelines, milestones, resources, and deliverables in collaboration with technical leads and executive team
Manage project budgets and timelines; track progress through dashboards and project management tools
Identify and mitigate project risks; adjust plans to remain on track
Facilitate team meetings, ensuring transparency, ownership, and accountability
Create and maintain documentation
Cross-functional Coordination
Act as a central point of contact between all teams
Ensure project alignment with Nutropy’s objectives and priorities
Help translate high-level strategic objectives into coordinated operational execution
Support resource allocation and anticipate skill or capacity gaps
Performance & Process Optimization
Implement and improve processes and tools for project planning and follow-up
Monitor and report on project KPIs and OKRs, escalating critical issues when needed
Contribute to continuous improvement in cross-team communication, workflows, and execution discipline
Strategic Support
Assist in fundraising materials and grant applications when project coordination is involved
Participate in partner and stakeholder discussions requiring clear project timelines or deliverable overviews
Undertake any other activies as needed by the business
Skills we are looking for
Education & Experience:
Master’s degree or equivalent in science, engineering or business
3+ years of experience in program or project management in biotech, deep tech, or scientific environments, streamlining effective processes to enable team execution of OKRs
Proven track record managing cross-functional teams in a complex, fast-moving organization
Experience with innovation projects involving biology, bioprocess, or food science is a strong plus
Proficiency with project management tools (Notion, Click Up, etc.)
Experience supporting team growth in regards to hard and soft skills and professional satisfaction and progression
Experience in the food industry, ingredient or dairy industry, with food grade constraints is a plus
Strong written and verbal communication in English; French is a plus
